Bill is a 3rd generation Omahan and one of Omaha's Top Realtors since 1982.
He has the connections, know how and ability to get the job done!
Bill was born and raised in Ralston, a suburb of Omaha, where he graduated from High School in 1974. After enrolling in Construction Engineering at the University of Nebraska Omaha, the college moved to Lincoln so Bill enrolled in real estate at Metro Tech. He furthered his education with courses from Creighton School of Law, Grace University and Bellevue University where he graduated with a BS in Business Adminstration.
While in College, Bill worked at Millard Lumber loading lumber trucks and working in the homecenter. Realizing Bill could read and understand blueprints he was promoted to the estimating department where he worked with builders to "take off" or develop a materials list for houses from blue prints. Seeing that Bill had a gift and got along with the Builders, he was promoted to an outside lumber salesman. That is when he decided to get his real estate licnese, "I was selling the bones of the house, I might as well sell the whole thing"!
In 1982 when the interest rates were 19%, Bill recieved his real estate license. He decided to try real estate on a part time basis and finished the year as the #3 agent in a company of 90 agents and was awarded the Rookie of the Year. The following year found him the #1 producer in the company.
A couple of years later Bill and two others decided to start their own real estate company buying an ERA franchise, and naming it ERA Partners In Progress, with Bill as the head Broker. The company was recognized as the #3 best run small real estate company in the United States by ERA. Four years later NP Dodge was so impressed by what ERA Partners In Progress was doing that they entered into negotiations to buy the company. The accepted offer stated Bill had to be Sales Manager for NP Dodge. Several years later, Bill decided that he was losing the love for the business because he was no longer selling, so he decide to get back into selling.
Bill took his skills and went to work for CBS Real Estate Company where he currently is.
Bill has been married to Coleen for 26 years. Three children, Megan, Heidi & Josiah call him DAD!
